New Patients at Kew Dentistry
Whether you seek a routine checkup or a more complex procedure, the Kew Dentistry team is here to help you smile brighter. There are even times reserved every day for emergency patients, making sure your needs are promptly addressed.
When you call for an appointment, our front desk staff will chat with you to find out what we can do for you and which of our practitioners is best suited to your concerns.
We can also send you a text message confirming your appointment. Next we’ll ask that you download the necessary forms ahead of time and bring them in with you completed. If you prefer to fill them out in office, you can get here five minutes before your appointment time to do so. We ask that you bring a list of any medications you take daily.
Your First Visit
When you arrive, our front desk team will warmly welcome you. You can have a seat in our bright, comfortable patient lounge with a variety of the latest magazines. We also offer a commercial coffee machine if you or your family members would like a cup of coffee or tea. If your children are with you, they’ll love our game room with several televisions and Xbox 360s to keep them amused while they wait.
You’ll be promptly brought through to the surgery to start your appointment. You might be there for 30-60 minutes, depending on what’s brought you in and if you want to start treatment that day. Our dentists will perform a scale and clean if you’re here for a regular checkup. Each consulting room is designed for your comfort, with reclining, cushy chairs and televisions mounted in the ceiling. If X-rays are required, we’ll take them using our advanced diagnostic equipment.
Both kids and adults will be given a new patient pack that includes a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, emergency first aid magnet for the fridge and an oral hygiene leaflet. If you need further attention, all possible options will be discussed with you. We will then create a treatment plan and email it to you so that you can review it at your leisure.
Fee and Payment Options
We kindly request that accounts are settled on the day of treatment. Rebates can be claimed immediately through our HICAPS facility if you have a health fund.
